AOTEA CENTRE is a multi purpose and flexible convention centre in the heart of Auckland's CBD. Whether you are holding a conference, seminar, exhibition, awards ceremony, product launch, cocktail party or gala dinner, Aotea Centre has a space to suit (10 - 2000 capacity).

WAIHOROTIU ROOMS
With floor to ceiling windows, and a balcony over-looking Aotea Square, Waihorotiu is a favourite for day meetings, conference break-out sessions and intimate celebrations.

The room has a foyer area outside ideal for delegate catering.

The capacity of Waihorotiu 1 can be extended by utilising the adjacent Waihorotiu 2.
Waihorotiu 2 can be hired in addition to Waihorotiu 1 to use as a secretariat, for satchel packing or for additional storage space.

HUNUA ROOMS
The Hunua Rooms at Aotea – Te Pokapū | Aotea Centre offer a versatile and professional environment designed to meet the demands of modern corporate events, from board meetings and strategy sessions to large-scale seminars and workshops.
With four flexible configurations, this 909m² space can be adapted to suit a variety of business needs. Retractable walls allow for the creation of three individual rooms, each with a private foyer for networking and breakouts, or a single expansive space for larger conferences and training sessions. The individual rooms range from 180m² to 204m², accommodating up to 186 guests in a theatre-style setup.

Designed to enhance productivity and engagement, the Hunua Rooms feature ample natural light streaming in through a motorized skylight, creating a bright and refreshing atmosphere. The 4.2-metre-high entry doors add a sense of grandeur, making a strong first impression on attendees. The custom-designed carpet, inspired by the historic Waihorotiu Stream, and wood-accented paneling contribute to a professional yet welcoming ambiance.
