Studio One Toi Tū offers ways for Aucklanders to meet and share ideas, skills and practice. Creativity can become part of your life here, whether you’re a beginner, experienced, a maker a resident or a visitor. With several spaces perfect for your next meeting, hui or get together that to cater to a wide range of needs and requirements you’ll easily find the right spot in this iconic building.

Meeting Rooms
With various rooms available across this two-story building you’ll find a range dynamic spaces suitable for small or medium or larger groups to conduct meetings, lectures, performances, classes or workshop sessions.

‘Messy’ Studios
Studio One Toi Tū is a hub for creativity with two ‘messy’ studios available to hire for your next team day, family gathering or kids party. The two messy spaces include an art workshop for painting, print making and visual art practices and a dedicated ceramics art workshop set up to accommodate sculpture practices. These spaces can be hired in its entirety at our hourly, daily or half daily rate.
Capacities

Room 5: Standing/seated capacity: 50 standing / 30 seated
Room 6: Standing/seated capacity: 25 standing or 20 seated
Room 10: Standing/seated capacity: 100 standing, 60/70 seated
Painting Studio: 20 seated
Ceramics Studio: 12 seated

Our spaces can be used for:
• events (excluding weddings, 21st and 18th parties)
• pop-up exhibitions and film screenings
• meetings, conferences and training seminars.

Concession hire rates are available for community groups by application.

Hire includes:

- Plenty of chairs and tables available for configuration by hirers
- AV equipment available for lectures/talks
- Outside deck and courtyard
- Access to refrigerator, oven, microwave, hot water, dish washer and kitchen prep area. Glasses, cups and plates can also be hired.
