Event Space in Ponsonby

Studio One Toi Tū has a variety of adaptable indoor and outdoor spaces to meet your needs, bring your idea to life and open your event to the community. Whether you’re a designer looking for a space to show your latest collection, a book group seeking a central meeting place, or if you are looking for something more exciting, we have the space for you.

Room 10 is a large open room suitable for private functions, events, and pop-ups and exhibitions. Located on the first floor, surrounding windows look onto Ponsonby Road and Karangahape Road providing plenty of natural light. Transform this space from well-lit to a dark space for film screenings or projections by closing the large shutters to create long white walls. The room is fit out with a ceiling-mounted High-Definition Panasonic projector, motorised screen and audio sound system. The room also includes a heat pump, which is adjustable to both warm and cooler temperatures.

The Print/Painting Studio and Ceramics Studio are the perfect space for creative activities and event, with specialist facilities and equipment available. These ‘messy’ spaces have access to water and have heat pumps installed to ensure your comfort. They are great spaces for you next team building day, hens party or creative event. We can also put you in touch with specialist tutors who can help bring your event to life.

Concession hire rates are available for community groups by application.
