Common Space Studio Hire

Welcome to Common Space Studio.

We are a newly built studio space based in Grey Lynn available for dry hire for your photography or motion shoots.

In the studio we have a white three wall wrap around cyclorama, measuring 10m(w) x 13m(d) x 4.8m(h). Our loading bay provides direct access from the road to the studio measuring 2.8m (w) x 8.7m (L) x 3m (h). The loading bay provides two car parks.

We have a full kitchen which is located next to the studio space which is fitted with a powered work bench perfect for housing clients or agency. The kitchen has a view through large windows into the studio space and comes with a coffee machine, oven, hob, water tap, fridge, freezer, drinks fridge, dishwasher and two sofa chairs. Our ground floor space also has a disabled bathroom and seperate washroom.

On the first floor you will find the hair & makeup area with two HMU stations, a changing room, a bathroom (with shower), a meeting table and a lounge area with a sofa which has views down into the studio through large windows.

We have two hire options available:

FULL ACCESS:
Our full access studio hire includes all areas of the studio on both the ground floor and the first floor. Full access comes with a total of four car parks, two internally (within the loading bay) and two externally (carport at the front entrance).
FULL ACCESS RATES
Full day : $1,200 + gst per day (10hrs)
Half day : $750 + gst (5hrs)
Cleaning: $120 (mandatory on all bookings)
Floor paint : $200 (optional)
Overtime: $150 p/h

PART ACCESS:
We also provide a part access option for those smaller shoots that do not require the large white studio cyc or the upstairs area (first floor).
Included in the part access hire is a smaller grey shoot space measuring 10m x 4.2m x 4.8m, as well as the kitchen/client space, bathroom & washroom.
Part access comes with a total of three car parks, two internally (within the loading bay) and one externally (carport at the front entrance).
Excluded from the part access hire is the white cyc space as well as the first floor space (hair & makeup, second bathroom, meeting table).
PART ACCESS RATES
Full day : $600 + gst per day (10hrs)
Half day : $400 + gst (5hrs)
Cleaning: $120 (mandatory on all bookings)
Overtime: $150 p/h

Please note: Our loading bay can accomodate small lighting trucks and most everyday vehicles. If your booking requires a larger space to house a large lighting truck please let us know and we can make arrangements to accomodate this.
