Newly renovated with a 'retro beach vibe' from the bones of the old Leigh Hotel, our Seaview room (150 guests seated ) and Courtyard Lounge (35 seated with tables) can be configured to suit any occasion, large or small.



With beautiful coastal walks and beaches right in the neighbourhood, close to Goat island Marine Reserve and trendy Matakana, laid-back Leigh is the perfect spot to get away from it all with your team or group... and we are only 1 hour away from Auckland City.

If you are wanting a break from the hard work we can also recommend plenty of local attractions and grazing spots for offsite activities too.



With a full size commercial kitchen, 2 bars and outdoor spaces with beautiful seaviews and a private walled courtyard, plus onsite Motel accommodation and Campervan parking, we have options aplenty for you to tailor your special event. Hire as much or as little as you need. We have breakout rooms for conferences and meetings, as well as Projector, whiteboard, PA and Sound system available. Full dining, table and chair hire packages also available.



Our point of difference is that we are a 'bare hall hire'. Our base rate is for hire of the venue, plus a per head fee for chattels and extras such as tables and chairs, tableware and lighting.  We will liaise with you about arranging set up, food and drink, caterers and kitchen help. You may self-cater or talk to us about recommended local providers. We are onsite to help, but basically you may run your event your way. ( Sorry but we are not available for 21sts).



Rates vary according to season and 'extras' hire requirements, with highest rates in summer and weekends.



Usually hire period will be for 24 hours with half day rates available off peak.



Courtyard Lounge $350, Kitchen from $100 Seaview Room from $500.
