Meeting Rooms
With warm, natural light, built-in audio-visual technology and views of Victoria Square or the Ōtākaro Avon River, our meeting rooms are ideal for smaller breakout events, stand-alone seminars, board meetings or conferences.

Venue Details
Our meeting rooms offer 1,600m² of meeting space across 14 individual rooms, located in three distinct clusters – Bealey, Conway and Dobson.

Exhibition Hall
The Te Pae Christchurch Exhibition Hall is one of the biggest convention spaces in the South Island. With room for more than 200 booths, the Exhibition Hall is ideal for sizeable exhibitions, live performances or large-scale dinners and award ceremonies.
Venue Details
Seamlessly integrated within the centre, the Exhibition Hall has been designed to offer real flexibility, allowing it to be configured to the ideal design for your event. Offering 2,800m² of flat floor space (expandable up to 3,300m²), the area can be divided into four separate halls and meeting rooms.

Foyer & Reception
With four distinct foyers – Ground Floor, Exhibition, Bealey and Dobson – and a 10-metre, marble reception desk, Te Pae Christchurch offers multiple spacious and impressive access points for guests and delegates. Each foyer has a number of digital screens for seamless wayfinding and welcome messaging.

Auditorium
Suitable for a variety of presentations, keynotes, performances and gigs, our auditorium merges modern technology and audio-visual capabilities, with beautiful, innovative design to create an unforgettable experience.
Venue Details
Adaptable to both plenary sessions and entertainment, this theatre comfortably accommodates 1,400 people in tiered seating. The auditorium can also be split into two independently autonomous spaces of 700 seats, with separate audio and video capabilities.

River Rooms
Named after Canterbury’s iconic braided rivers, the Waitaki and Rakaia Rooms at Te Pae Christchurch offer a fine-dining experience like no other. Featuring a unique ceiling design, the rooms provide a warm but open space with captivating views of the Ōtākaro Avon River.
Venue Details
Overlooking the Ōtākaro Avon River, each of the River Rooms seats up to 500 people. They can be combined for larger banquets and gala dinners, to seat 1,000 people.

Te Pae Lounge
Accessible from both back of house as well as front of house, our stylish VIP suite includes a self-contained bathroom, kitchenette and live-viewing screens to the auditorium. Safe, secure and impressive, the Te Pae Lounge is the perfect place to accommodate VIP guests and high-profile speakers or entertainers.

Organiser Offices
Our conveniently-located organiser offices cater for teams of six to 12 people, with a comprehensive range of built-in services and technology. Each office can be easily accessed from any of our main foyers.
