Edgar Functions Centre Dunedin

The Edgar Centre is the ultimate multi-functional facility. We have spaces to suit a huge variety of business and social functions including weddings, birthday parties, sales meetings, events, conferences and expos and trade shows.  

The 2400 square meter More Fm Arena and the even larger Main Hall (14400 square meters) are two of Dunedin's premier major event venues with size and flexibility to host anything and everything. 

The Harbour View Lounge and House of Travel Lounge  are ideal for mid-sized to quite large functions including weddings, parties, presentations or meetings and the Arena Lounges and Corporate Suites are perfect for breakout group activities or smaller meetings.

Conferences:
Whether it is a one day conference for 100, or a four day conference for 400, we can host your event!
Situated at the head of Otago harbour, we have plenty of parking spaces for delegates (always a problem in Dunedin). We can also organise full catering and bar facilities if required.

Our conference team would work closely with you to ensure all your requirements are met and will assist in co-ordinating extra equipment and conference hardware to compliment your schedule.

Weddings:

Beautiful harbour and city views by day or by night. Flexible room arrangements to seat 30-120 guests. Table themes to leave that lasting memory.

Parties:
The Edgar Centre is party central, with a space for any type of party that you can dream up. We host birthday parties for all ages, and not only kids. 21st, 30th, 50th and 90th parties can all be designed as you want them, in a space to suit. We also host family reunions, graduations, work group parties, and sports team parties throughout the year. The Harbour View Lounge can accomodate up to 200 people for an unforgettable occasion and with the many other spaces around our venue no party is too big or too small.

Dinners:
Whether it is a breakfast buffet for 50 or a sit down meal for 1200 we can accommodate you.
