The Orangerie Function Room

The Orangerie Function Room above The Monaco Kitchen is a purpose-built meeting and functions room.



The Orangerie is available for meetings, functions, dining and birthday parties. The room features lots of natural light with spectacular views or Waimea Inlet and the Kahurangi Mountain Range. French doors open onto a private balcony.

The Village Hall

The Village Hall is a marvellous setting for a variety of occasions, from corporate AGMs to industry seminars and trade shows.



The Village Hall can be set up in a variety of ways, including theatre style seating, boardroom, u shape, classroom set-ups, banquet dining or for stand-up cocktail functions. It includes full bar facilities. The Grand Mercure Nelson Monaco operates a separate kitchen serving the Village Hall and the Grand Marquee.

Grand Marquee Function Centre

A spectacular venue for large scale events such as cocktail functions, product launches, expos or awards evenings.



The large permanent marquee comfortably accommodates up to 200 people (cocktail set-up) or up to 180 for (banquet set-up). It includes full bar facilities. There is also a shady outdoor area.

Meeting Spaces:

The Executive Cottage and The Boardroom are ideal for small meetings, including meetings, job interviews and training.



The two-bedroom Executive Cottage features separate lounge and dining areas and a private outside courtyard.

The Boardroom features a board table with seating for six to eight people.

Size: Approx. 20m2

Capacity: 6-8 people
