The Carlton of today encompasses good times with great food from what has become one of Christchurch’s best restaurants – featuring delicious dry aged beef and succulent seafood.

We have a TON of options to host your group or get-together. Parties, large groups, watching the game with mates, big or small - we can cater for all! With a great selection of menu and entertainment options just let us know your requirements and we’ll sort out the rest.

Our upstairs Members Bar is ideal for groups of 20 to 120 guests. It boasts a large private bar, a generous balcony with a louvered ceiling and an in-built AV system in case you want to show any slideshows or photos.

While Downstairs is the Auction Room, positioned right next to the main bar and suitable for up to 80 guests. The walls are covered in memorabilia from Christchurch’s early days and comfy booth seating. This space also features a private bar and wall mounted TV.

We’re also proud to present live entertainment every night of the week with live bands, solo performers, comedy and the famous Monday Carlton Quiz.
