If you are looking for the ultimate setting for your wedding, Montrose Estate offers a stunning location for your most precious occasion.

Based on exclusive use of all accommodation, Montrose Estate can offer a number of beautiful sites for a small intimate wedding or a large wedding in a Marquee. Catering for up to 250 guests, we will provide the accommodation and location and put you in touch with experience wedding planners to ensure your special day is an intimate experience.

Catering
With regards to catering we are in touch with a number of Christchurch based caterers who are familiar with the property. They would be able to advise you regarding yor Food, Beverage, Music and other requirements

Location
Just an hour’s scenic drive through quintessential Canterbury countryside from Christchurch International Airport (taking highway 73, then highway 77), or a short helicopter flight to the foothills of the Southern Alps. This is where you will find the private valley of Montrose, surrounded by the magnificent glacial fed Rakaia River.


Price Range
We charge a site fee of $50 per person for a minumum of 50 pax.Our weddings are based on all of our accommodation being booked out exclusively for a minimum of 2 nights.


Note: As we don’t have a dedicated function area inside our weddings are catered for in a Marquee The best place for this would be the grass area in the middle of the lake.

There are a number of areas onsite where the ceremony could be held but not limited wet weather options.
