Originally built in the 1880s and once home to the world’s first automatic totalisator machine, what was most recently Auckland Thoroughbred Racings's stable block has been painstakingly restored to retain its historic charm, but with a contemporary twist and all the comforts you expect from a premium venue.

While the original windows and stunning ceiling have been meticulously preserved, the finished look is more luxury than rustic.

Featuring freshly whitewashed walls, an elegant new oak floor, striking Italian granite, titanium and leather bar and – the pièce de résistance – a ‘starry sky’ ceiling simply perfect to dance the night away beneath – Tote on Ascot is making a big impression on those lucky enough to have enjoyed an event in this space.

The 470 square metre stables has the capacity for up to 450 people for a cocktail function and, like other venues under the Ellerslie Events umbrella, Tote on Ascot hire comes with extensive free parking, the convenience of a high quality in-house catering service and a professional events services team.
