Function Rooms

Located on Levels one and two, the Carter Holt Harvey and Panasonic Function Rooms have the ability to be used individually or to be combined into one large function space, which are ideal for meetings and corporate hostings. the Bayleys Boardroom with its natural light, is a perfect meeting space  for small meetings.



The Sir Woolf Fisher Arena at the Vodafone Events Centre is a multifunction venue space where concerts, conferences, exhibits, large functions and live entertainment come to life. It can be set up as a full flat floor venue or a 3,000 seat theatre stage utilising a combination of terraced and flat floor seating. Utilising its award winning Arena Seat Lifting Hydraulics, the bleacher seats may be lifted into the ceiling to create a 1800 sqm pillarless banquet hall and exhibition space.



The Arena features a reinforced floor enabling vehicles to drive straight into the facilities via the Lion Foundation Exhibition Foyer. Multiple hanging points, power, water, and telecommunication facilities are also available within the Arena. It also has four changing rooms with shower and toilet facilities.



The Genesis Energy Theatre features flexibility whilst also conforming to the traditional 600 seat end stage format. The 100 seat galleries provide a sense of warmth and inclusion by encircling people around the periphery. The theatre is a perfect venue for banquets and classroom style presentations with the ability to convert to a flat floor space. The main space is accessible from the ground level with the gallery levels available via stairs and lift located in the ASB Foyer.  



Vodafone Events Centre has a massive 750 space car park within its grounds. Parking is only $4.50 for the whole day and can be paid with coins, text and credit card.



Vodafone Events Centre has four open space foyers which can be used for dinners, functions, receptions and workshops.  The Fisher and Paykel Foyer is a 490 sqm space which serves as the entrance to the Sir Woolf Fisher Arena. It’s floor to ceiling glass wall faces the south and is beautifully decorated with hanging sculptures by a New Zealand sculptor.
