Bowling Club in Wellington for Events

As well as an excellent, well maintained artificial turf the venue includes a club rooms with a pleasant outlook over the green and surrounding bush.

Venue Hire
The venue is available for hire and is suitable for a wide range of meetings and occasions. We have hosted weddings, anniversaries, family and social gatherings, sporting and corporate events.

Our facility has a range of options for your dinners, parties, meetings or family gatherings, including:
- any mix you like for playing bowls, social gatherings, meetings, parties or dinners
- free use of bowls, free bowling tuition and guidance as required
- great outdoor setting with BBQ facilities
- function room: seating for 85 to 90 diners, or seating for 100 person meetings
- separate lounge bar: also usable as a breakout room
- overhead projection screens in the function room and lounge
- a licensed bar
- sound system and piano
- kitchen suitable for preparing, warming and plating food
- all-weather bowling surface: up to 50 players at a time
- easy wheelchair access to the function room and lounge
- handy to public transport

CHARGES
Bowls and Bar event (afternoons from November through February). The charge is $20 per person, maximum group size is 48 on the green at any one time, up to 2.5 hours. The minimum charge is $400. There is no additional charge for use of BBQ, use of clubhouse for lunch, full bar service and bowls coaching / supervision.

Venue hire for dinners, parties or family gatherings: The charge is $70 per hour for the function room, club lounge, kitchen and bar with full bar services. Variations can be negotiated . A special liquor license costs $83, when one is required.

Meeting Rooms. The charge is $25 per hour for a meeting room.
