Meet Helena: A New Addition to the Sharedspace Team

We are stoked to have Helena join the team this month as our new Account Manager! 

Helena's passion and drive for excellent customer service makes her the perfect fit for the Sharedspace team. She is the go-to girl to help guide you through how the site works, set up your listing to the best effectiveness, and going over and beyond to help wherever she can.

We sit down over a quick hot chocolate and chat to find out a little more about her. 

Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hey! My name is Helena and I'm from Auckland. I studied Event Management and Tourism at AUT while working in an insurance call centre.

I enjoy travelling - until last year I had only been to Rarotonga and Australia, but I was lucky enough to go to Europe on a Contiki with some friends from school. I also loved Vietnam, and next week I am on my way to the Philippines which I'm very excited about!    

What would be the most interesting fact about yourself?

I have a family home in Rarotonga that we share with my family, and I like to travel there every year.  

How would you spend your ideal weekend?

My ideal weekend would be spent with my close friends at a beach house in the sun with a few drinks - preferably somewhere in the Coromandel.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years time I will be 28. Ideally I would have a stable career and a home. I would also love to have travelled more - America is on the bucket list!! 

If you could choose to have only one cuisine for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Sushi! I love sushi. It is my all time favourite.  

What's your spirit animal?

A mix between a Tiger and a Sloth - some days I am motivated and ready to conquer, some days I just want to lie in bed all day. 

If you could invite 3 people to your BBQ, who would it be and why?

My number one would be Wiz Khalifa. I loved him at RNV and when he performed here in Auckland!

Secondly I would invite my Grandad. My Grandad died before I was born so having him come and meeting him would be amazing. 

My third person would be old school Michael Jackson. Maybe he could teach me a move or two as I am the world's worst dancer!  

What excites you about working at Sharedspace?

What is super exciting about working here is being part of something that is the future. I am looking forward to the challenges that are ahead and everything new about my job! The team is also amazing and I love the work environment.
