Greenway Self Park, ChicagoSince Chicago is nicknamed the 'Windy City' the designers of this Greenway car park harness the city's gusts to power the building. It uses wind turbines that look like corkscrews stretching from street level to its roof as seen in this image. The energy harvested from the wind powers electric car charging stations inside. |
