Mac's Function Centre



Located in the heart of Wellington’s picturesque waterfront, Mac’s Function Centre has three architecturally designed function spaces with a modern almost New York Loft style appearance, which really does make our venue one with a difference.



Having undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishment in 2011, Mac’s Function Centre now has a well established reputation in the function and event market, becoming an increasingly popular venue for conferencing events and social functions. 



Having held a variety of international conferences to date, the function centre is the ideal setting to host large scale single to multi-day conferences, with a purpose built function kitchen which can provide all types of delicious catering options for small seminars through to black tie gala dinners.



All three private function rooms have in-built AV and most additional AV products can be sourced from one of our preferred suppliers in order to meet your event requirements. There is also access to unlimited free Wi-Fi throughout the function centre.



Mac’s Function Centre is ideally situated between Te Papa and the Te Wharewaka complex, giving conference delegates a central base from which to enjoy the best of what our wonderful capital city has on offer.



Most of Wellington’s finest hotels are within walking distance, and car parking is available next door at Te Papa.





Cable Room Information



The Cable Room is located on the ground floor of the venue.  The room is a light open space with no pillars.  The room itslef has a stunning hard wood floor and a mix of brick and wood panneling feature walls.  The room can accomodate vehicles so is an extremely versatile space.

 



Te Aro Room Information



Located on the 1st floor of the venue, the Te Aro room is certainly a room with a difference.  it is a large open space with an almost New York loft feel to it.  The room has good natural light and no pillars. The room itself can be combined with the Waterfront room to provide one large open space to host those large conferences and Gala dinner for which so often other Wellington venues are unable to offer.



Waterfront Room Information



Located on the 1st floor of the venue, the Waterfront room has one of the most enviable vies of Wellington's stunning harbour.  The view can be enjoyed through the floor to ceiling windows or from the large balcony for your guests enjoyment.  The room has great natural light for daytime meetings and yet is easily transformed in the evening for social gatherings.
